Do Chiropractors Accept Insurance?
We cannot speak for all chiropractors, but here at Akridge, we do work with several insurance companies including, but not limited to, Medicare. We also accept patients without insurance.
Are Chiropractors Safe?
There are times when chiropractic care may not be safe, but this is a person by person basis. Pregnancy, broken bones, and/or other factors may play a role in the safety of chiropractic adjustments.
For most healthy individuals, a licensed chiropractor is absolutely safe! In fact, chiropractic adjustments are often considered the safest, drug-free treatment for pain relief.
We always perform a thorough examination prior to any adjustments to ensure your safety.
What Exactly Does A Chiropractor Do?
After an examination of your spine, posture, and other alignments, a chiropractor will use precision pressure to manipulate joint alignment. Chiropractors are healthcare professionals who focus on treating the underlying cause of pain through manual adjustments.
Do Chiropractors Really Help?
More than 90% of our patients have said they feel some level of pain relief after the first visit with us. Although the number of adjustments and types of wellness plan needed for an individual can vary, most of our patients would agree that we have been successful in treating their pain relief.
Neck pain, back pain, and knee pain are the most common symptoms we treat, but if you are experiencing any type of pain, we should be able to help! We offer full body chiropractic adjustments, so if you’re experiencing pain, we can address it!
How Often Should You Visit A Chiropractor?
Because each person has different needs, the frequency of visits to Akridge Chiropractic can vary. Some patients need several adjustments each week to fix the root cause of the pain. On the other hand, several patients have experienced a level of pain relief and visit once per month for overall wellness.
How Much Does A Chiropractic Visit Cost?
Each person has different needs. Some require more work than others. In fact, some may even elect to receive additional services. So although we cannot provide an exact answer online, we offer free in-person consultations!
